hand-poured in atlanta
a quiet ritual

treat it right, it glows right back

the candle ritual

four rules of the flame

hand-poured, small-batch wax has opinions. follow these and every burn stays clean, even, and true to scent.

01

the first burn is forever

give it 2–3 hours — long enough for the melt pool to reach the edges. wax has memory: cut the first burn short and it tunnels for life.

02

trim before every light

snip the wick to ¼ inch before each burn. no mushroom tips, no soot, no smoke show — just a steady, even flame.

03

four hours, max

then let it rest and reset. longer burns overheat the vessel and rush through scent you paid good money for.

04

leave the last half inch

when ½ inch of wax remains, retire it — the vessel runs hot past that point. rinse with warm, soapy water and give the jar a second life.

the non-negotiables

pretty flames are still flames

no. 1

never leave a lit candle unattended. it's a mood, not a roommate.

no. 2

burn on a heat-safe surface, clear of drafts, curtains, and anything that flutters.

no. 3

keep out of reach of kids, pets, and chaotic roommates. glass gets hot — handle with care.

the other ritual

skin, handled

clean formulas, small batches, no additives we'd be embarrassed to name. here's how to keep them at their best.

keep it cool + closed

store away from direct sun and steamy windowsills, lids on tight. heat and light are the fastest way to age a formula.

patch test first

new formula, new rules. dab a little on your inner forearm and give it 24 hours before it earns a spot in the rotation.

twelve months, then let go

once opened, use within 12 months. if the color shifts or it smells off — it is off. thank it for its service and move on.

— a note from the house

we don't make candles to sit pretty on a shelf, and we don't make skincare to gather dust. we make them to be lived with — lit often, used daily, never babied. take care of them, and they'll return the favor.
